Need a bit of advice, QUICK!
Normally my little girl is very very active, but tonight I felt her for about 5 minutes all day!!
I've tried freezing cold water ...nothing, I've tried fizzy drinks...nothing! I'm really not sure what else to do, this is my first! help!!!!
Awe that's good! Glad she started moving, my son used to fall asleep when I had a bath pregnant with him so wouldn't have thought to suggest that lol xx
Glad everything is ok, it's natural to worry, I remember dragging my midwife out to come check on my little man because he hadn't kicked in 24 hours and just before she shown up he started kicking up a storm 😂 xx
Haha bless I knew it, naughty little babies, I'm glad everything is ok :D xx
So sorry to be a pain to you ladies!! I've just had a warm bath, and the little minx started kicking! think she's been sleeping all day! sorry ladies! xxx @blossom23 @cayleighnatasha @emmajo @sophiegreen
being 22 weeks a lot of people don't even feel baby moving at this stage so they can't do nothing for you and don't think they put you on the monitor either until you're a bit further gone.. however I would just give your maternity triage a ring and see what they suggest hun. hope all is OK with you and baby. keep us updated xxx
I've been on my left side all night, just trying another glass of water, if that doesn't work I'll ring xx
I had a big baby (8lb 4oz) and sometimes I would get myself so busy I would have a mini panic thinking he stopped moving (he was fine and now a very hyperactive 11m old lol) but as above due to you being only 22 weeks they do say that your baby won't have a regular pattern until@around 26/27 weeks which is when #countthekicks recommend you to start monitoring babies movements. Of course if you're worried don't hesitate to ring up your labour ward/triage for advice.. Xx
Have you tried lying on your left side hun whilst drinking water as this stimulates good blood circulation, but if you are truly concerned hun ring your maternity unit to be monitored x
Its strange because i have been told I'm having a big baby, I feel her move pretty much 24/7 everyday, but today I haven't, just slightly worried not sure what to do where are fizzy drinks normally send her mad, but that hasn't worked xx @emmajo @blossom23 @sophiegreen
With you only being 22 weeks it's normal not to feel baby movements every day but you should still get it checked out ASAP if you're worried xx
If you've tried everything already then I'd advise you to ring your local maternity ward/triage and ask for advice, they may want you to go in for observations and monitoring to check everything is all okay.. Xx
If you ever have any concerns there's an emergency midwife you could always call or some hospitals have an emergency number. Ask you midwife next time you see her xx
