Who still drinks coffee while pregnant? I have 1 small cup every morning but I feel like I just can't give that up! I feel a little guilty about it but I crave it in the morning!
Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights

I still drink coffee. Well, kind of. I pour a cup and very rarely actually finish it, but there's still something nice about pouring that hot cup in the morning.

it's fine to drink a cup every day. I used to drink redbulls before getting pregnant. they are fine, but doctor said coffee is better for you.

I drink like 2 cups a day mon-fri (work) but maybe a total of one cup over the weekend. My ob first just ok'd it but now she has recommended it bc of the horrible headaches I get daily 🙄😒 but she says it's perfectly fine just don't go overboard on the caffeine!

@mamabee, oh that's awesome!! @mylittleprincess lol my cousin did that after I had my first son 😂 @mommagotbump16 I wonder if I'm going to be the same way!! I'm super early on (4 weeks) so I actually might not be able to handle it much longer! Lol

@altmom, yup you're good! I'm hugely addicted lol, but I cut back to 1.5 cups during my last pregnancy. I thought I'd be the same with this one, but I can barely handle 1-2 cups a week now! (It has me running to the bathroom now 😢) One day!!! Lol.

I drink two shots of espresso in the morning and a shot at night as needed. The doc gave the okay. I'm not real caffeine sensitive though.

@camdensmamma, aww!! Lol that's a bummer!!! @mylittleprincess I totally feel you on that! I was obsessed with Redbull but then switched to the it works energy drinks... Still can't have those though 😭 lol our day will come again soon!!

@altmom, yeah 200 is about 3 regular cups. so a cup a day isn't bad. oh that's how it goes. lol. I love energy drinks and had to quit cold turkey when I found out. can't wait to give birth so I can have one again. :p luckily I don't like coffee.

@mylittleprincess, oh I'm sure I don't get 200mg a day... My issue is I just got a ton of new coffee for Christmas! Of course we didn't find out until 3 days later that I was pregnant lol

they say up to 200 mg of caffeine is safe a day. if you're really concerned about it, just slowly switch to decaf :)
