I had an emergency c section at 26 weeks and 6 days on Christmas Eve. I didnt see him with my own eyes until Christmas Day but Dad and grandma did. I have tons of videos and pictures thanks to them. Because of my fibroids my emergency c section was pretty rough on my body afterwards but the pain is getting better each day. I get discharged tomorrow 12/27 and it's been very emotional day for me realizing that tomorrow is the day I get to go home and Logan will be in the NICU. After almost 5 weeks of being on bed rest at the hospital and 2 weeks at home it's time to go home, rest and get ready for him. We still aren't sure how long his NICU stay will be but he is doing great. The Drs and nurses have taken such good care of me and Logan. God has truly put great people in our path. Logan is a good weight (2lbs 8oz) and did not have be intubated at birth which is also great news in his favor. He can breath on his but has the cpap machine and a feeding tube which are typical with babies his size. If any of you are going through anything I mean anything. There is nothing prayer and a positive attitude can't help. Dont get me wrong I have shed a ton of tears but I've also prayed a lot and kept my thoughts positive. In the grand scheme of things my son is doing great. Please send good vibes and pray for us as we continue this journey to love on him and get him home.
Logan's Mom 💙

What a perfect Christmas gift. I know you have endured a long road up until this point - God is a mighty miracle worker and baby Logan is here to stay. Praying for a speedy recovery for you and for baby Logan to continue to persevere in this next chapter of NICU. God Bless!
