How long were you in labor after induction? Did you ladies go in already dilated & if so how much were you dilated to

My friend was in labor after getting induced for 3 days.

my first was 9 hrs but I was almost a 4 wen I went in. my daughter ibwas at a 1 and it took 14 hrs for her to come....if your body is ready and starting on its own then more then likely it will be quicker if your body shows no sign of labor no dilation expect it to be a while

I go in tomorrow morning, I was dilated to a 3 as of yesterday @mommyhammond2016 hopefully I get rolling and moving at a decent time but if not it'll all work out fine!

But I haven't had any contractions on my own really @mommyhammond2016

awesome I hope it goes well is your cervix thinned out? some girls have to get cerfidil for that to happen

honestly with my first I didn't know what I was feeling it didn't feel like period cramps like everyone says it was more like a dull achy pain on my hips and it was just uncomfortable I didn't even say anything to anyone except my husband I just said it felt weird when they started pitocin they moved from my hips to the front of my belly still achy pains I was joking with the nurses until I was 7

cervidil helps ripen your cervix to get it ready for labor its an extra process I never had it

That's how I am! I'm not sure what to look for because I feel like I could be missing it. I haven't had any period cramp feelings but I do have pain in my hips etc. I guess I will find out tomorrow!! @mommyhammond2016

if your having contractions chances r ur ready

If your dilated you should be effaced.
