I know you can stay slightly dilated for weeks or even months but can you be just under 1cm dilated and have semi irregular contractions -some more painful than others- (idk if they are irregular or not I didn't realize I was having them at first until she hooked me up to a monitor and they were 5 minutes apart. I only felt like every 3rd one) for 5 days and not dilate more? Is that possible to have contractions but stay the same?
