Any one smoke thru out their entire pregnancy? Just want to hear how other people feel about this...my friend says she isn't going to stop! Personal stories only please! No non smoker opinions...
I quit when I had morning sickness but then my landlord was basically breaking into our house drunk all the time bitching and freaking out about me being pregnant and once my morning sickness went away I started smoking again and I know I need to quit but I just can't quit living where Im living. @lesherbreanne
I smoked till I was 7 months I could quit but I cut back a lot to only 3 a day then at like 8 1/2 I started again but only one here and there and my daughter is fine I mean I don't recommend it and I hate that I did it but it was impossible for me to quit I just couldn't do it
yes I have tried to quit but it's just so hard and it's extremely stressful where I live so it makes me crave cigarettes and I feel bad but it's just honestly soo damn hard to quit. @lesherbreanne
I was smoking before I was pregnant, and it took up until 3 weeks ago to completely stop! It is very very hard, and stressful, and most doctors will tell you not to stop because it can distress your baby, and make them FEEN for one just like we do.. I will never ever judge a mom for smoking during pregnancy bc some just can't quit.
I am advised not to by my doctor but when I got pregnant with my first, with my doctors help I went from a pack Ina half a day to 4-8 a day. She tried helping me stop smoking and keeping me on a monitor for a few hours without a cig put me and my baby into distress. I bout lost my first so for the sack of not losing my son my doctor monitored me twice a week throughout my pregnancy. With this pregnancy my baby is doing fine with me only have 4 a day, sometimes I go as far as I can without smoking until I feel my vitals go up. It's very stressful.
I know there will be people who judge me for this. but I did smoke throughout my entire pregnancy. in fact I smoked a lot more when I was pregnant then I did before I got pregnant. my son came out just fine. he doesn't have any breathing issues or anything. he is amazing. :) I felt guilty the entire time tho. so will she. no matter what she says that thought that she could be hurting her baby will remain in her mind the entire time. it did for me.
I delivered a health baby boy at 39wks with no complications and he's now a perfectly normal 13 month old
exactly what I have done I quit smoking when j had morning sickness @mommasboys
I did it with my first. I smoked heavily before I knew I was pregnant, but I got to the point of morning sickness I stopped and didn't smoke again till my second trimester, still not heavily, but I'd smoke every now and then, then in my 3rd trimester I smoked a little more regularly then the 2nd trimester.
I smoked a lot before I got pregnant and it's hard but I'm quitting I've cut back a lot and my ob also told me that I absolutely should not quit cold turkey because it can cause more stress for the baby then smoking and cutting back. I still occasionally smoke throughout the day but I do not smoke nearly as much as I used to before getting pregnant. honestly don't want anybody bashing me because at least I'm trying to cut back but I've lost the most important person in my life that I only had for 10 months and so that depression makes it a lot worse and makes me smoke also.
I smoked through my entire pregnancy. I cut back some but never quit like I wanted to... My baby boy came out perfect at 39 weeks at 6 lbs 11oz
