My mom wasn't able to breastfeed me or my siblings past 1 month. My daughter will be 4 months on Christmas, and we're doing great with it. No end in sight. And don't worry if you don't leak anything before babe is born. I didn't. But she latched and got it out. Just don't give up. I almost did multiple times. Now I'm super glad that I didn't!

My mom didn't produce milk when I was born.....granted I was 9 weeks early. my baby boy is 6 weeks old and has been exclusively breastfed with the exception of one bottle of formula the night he was born because I had to be taken to the OR for surgery. Don't give up!

I'm 37 weeks and my mom also didn't get milk and I went days without being fed when I was in the hospital... Long story short she's totally paranoid about me not being able to as well, but I'm staying firm and very adamant on breast feeding. There's a lot of info about on increasing milk and helping you produce milk... There are also natural remedies you can take to help your milk production

My mom stopped at 2 months because she didn't have enough motivation. Lots of nutrition and the bond is enough motivation for me! Btw me and my siblings don't have the best relationship with my mom so seems like that bond is whats most important!

Also I'm so in love with breastfeeding! I hate giving my daughter a bottle , it just feels so wrong and i feel so disconnected to her. Another wonderful thing about breastfeeding is that when baby gets a cold its saliva communicates with your breast telling it to make antibodies. My mom said she stopped because she wanted her body back. I think thats so selfish.
