I'm 29 with my 3rd child on the way. I will also be getting my final degree from school in 2 months and would like to work on my career after the youngest turns 1. I do not see myself having anymore kids because I would like to work on securing the future for myself and my 3 children. As far as men go...I'm almost certain I will be a single mom so I can't ask him to get a vasectomy.

You can always ask your ob if they don't offer it you can get the 5 year iud until you can get them tied

@liz90 I guess you would take the risk but if be worried about meeting "the one" in a few years and really wanting a baby with him and not being able to.

im 25 and going to have my first baby but dont want anymore after that... anyway they can do the procedure based on my age?

There are so many complications that can happen if you get this done. It's easier for the guy to have a vasectomy.

Where I live you have to be 25 with Atleast 3 kids.
