I love my midwife too. ❤️😍 definitely a more personalized experience than going to an ob (at least in my experience). I feel like she takes more time with me and isn't in a rush to measure, listen to the heartbeat and run out the door.

A midwife is usually a certified nurse practitioner who specializes in obstetrics. They usually take a more holistic or natural approach to pregnancy than OB's do. They are also, a lot of times, doulas - or trained birth coaches. I love my midwife ☺
I hated all the midwives I went to, I much prefer my male doctor.
