So when I just had my baby she couldn't get a good latch and ended up splitting my left nipple and turned my whole right nipple into a giant scab. I started exclusively pumping even though I had bought a nipplesheild to help with getting a better latch.. ( I have flat nipples) I was just to scared of what would happen to my nipples. Tonight I used my shield and it went great. Baby is eating great (I think) and I'm having little to no pain!! I feel so great being able to connect with my baby girl this way!!:)
