Ladies... Public service announcement/rant: I cannot stress how much you should educate yourselves on labor in a hospital. Do NOT 'just listen to what your doctor tells you'. Watch the 'Business of Being Born' it's on Netflix! Understand the risks of induction methods: cytotec, Cervidil, pitocin, artificial rupture of membranes 'breaking water'- especially if this is your first baby. My intention is not to scare you, but to ask you to make yourself AWARE! Doctors do not always do what is in your best interest and you should know the pros and cons of induction methods to do what is right for your body and baby. Your body can birth a baby without a million interventions- it's worked for millennia!
