Mom's what questions did you ask your pediatrician when you interviewed them?

if I have an emergency and I needed you later at night, can I get ahold of you?

1. Do you approve a holistic approach versus always prescribing meds?

2. Do you have good availability? (Will we see you or at least your nurse versus seeing whomever you share a practice with.)

3. I check out their willingness to engage parents, and try to gauge their bedside manner.

4. I scope out the office. Is there a separate sick waiting room? Are their toddler/kid activities to keep the little ones happy as they wait?

5. Does the practice genuinely value my time? Wait times are inevitable but are they really scheduling for CARE or for maximum profit for the day?
