Has anyone else taken Benadryl to help them sleep at night? I caught RSV from my two little ones and my Dr stressed that I need sleep to get better or it could turn into pneumonia but I hardly ever get a good night's sleep anymore so she suggested taking Benadryl. I really hate taking medicine while I'm pregnant and she already has me taking Musinex DM.

I take it every night. Have horrible insomnia with no meds

I always took Benadryl around 5pm because I'd always wake up groggy if I took it later.

@geladactyl, I won't take it before my husband gets home at 9 pm because it's just me with 4 kids and as tired as I am I'm afraid I would just pass out. I'm hoping I'm not groggy in the morning but if I am at least he's off tomorrow because I need rest and to feel better.

Get your rest! That's most important so you don't get more sick. Hope you feel better ❤️

Funny. I took it for the first time minutes ago, i was a driver for a company golf tournament today and literally need a night of sleep so good it will feel like before we got pregnant, praying benadryl does the trick
