I start school Monday. I decided to do it online so I can stay home with my son and breastfeed. I guess I'm starting to realize that school was my "getaway" and I'm not gonna have that this year. it's also my senior year and seeing the pictures of the new school are kinda making me depressed.
Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?

Beginning/ lenght of school year? I'm just wondering this out of curiosity. I see here that there are great discrepancies in the date of the start of the school year (from late July to September).
My son starts kindergarten in a month. I went to the schools website to try to find a list of supplies they need. One thing is headphones for iPad...I hate that schools are starting to do this!!!! A lot of kids already have an iPad or kindle or some sort of technology at home, school should be a break from it! Also why would you give a 6 year old an iPad & expect it to be in the same exact condition at the end of the year!?! Does your kids school have iPads?
Sad panda Blah. I'm really sad about it, but we are moving to Washington state before the end of the year ???. My family lives there, and I went to part of high school there and we lived there for a couple years when our oldest was a baby. So it's not ALL bad. But...I'm still sad to leave my neighbors ????

I hated online school. It's honestly so terrible but please push through! It's so worth it in the end!
