can i suggest something that might be none of my business but if you think you might have a uti be careful and dont hae sex bc not only can that give you a yeast infection but it can give your partner an std i know it sounds stupid but its true just wait until the doctor calls whi will be within 24 hours after the text if they find anything

@mommylexi24, -that's absolutey not true. I'm a dr please trust me on this. A UTI will never cause an STD in the partner nor will sex while having a UTI cause a yeast infection. Antibiotics can cause yeast and sex can cause UTIs bc of the additional bacteria in the area around the urethra. @renee383 -do you not have any symptoms unless you've just had sex? Make sure you call your dr before the weekend. You don't want to let a UTI go untreated if you do have one.

@aj1115 Good AJ! @mommylexi24 I agree with you-abstaining will never hurt if there is concern for infection(UTI or vaginal). I just wanted to clear up some of what your dr said bc physiologically those things can't happen. :)

I don't know i just know what I hear and I know for me i feel gross with a uti but i know that having sex while things are going on in the nether regions can cause bigger issues if left untreated but i can't remember if its uti or bladder infection that makes things worse

@renee383, -cloudy urine could mean several things. With you having the burny feeling after sex, it sounds more of a vaginal issue. Any discharge can show up in urine, too. Yeast and BV(bacterial vaginosis) are common vaginal infections during pregnancy. STDs are also a possibility, too, and are dangerous while pregnant. If you are at risk, then I would get vaginal swabs before the weekend to be safe. Being dehydrated can cause cloudy urine, too. Make sure you're staying hydrated in this heat☺️
