So I know that In the Latino culture you’re suppose to wait the 6 weeks (quarentena) to be able to have sex again. I’m currently at 5 weeks and I cheated and had sex last night! It had been too long! Did any of u do it before the 6 weeks?
@babyayleensmommy, that’s why six weeks is the average and most recommended time frame to wait.
@x_storm You said times are a changing..I'm saying that yes times are because my comment is more accurate because My Kids are younger. I'm not saying anything bad about your child and I too am sorry for your loss but you are being ignorant! Sometimes the truth just hurts!
@babyayleensmommy but I didn't say nothing about her kid. I'm getting off this thread.
But you were and I'm sorry for your loss but I'm sure she didn't know your child is in heaven if she did she wouldn't have said that. So yes ignorance is bliss practice what you preach hun @x_storm
@al_lopezzzz2718 I wasn't being rude. Too bad my 10 year old is a 10year child in heaven. Again ignorance is bliss.
@x_storm Says the one being ignorant! Maybe you shouldn't comment back if all you want to be is rude to other Mommies!!
Lol ignorance is bliss 😂😂🤦 @x_storm
@x_storm Ok Doll and how old do you think I am!? I appear to be alot younger than you considering I don't have a 10 year old! So yes! Times are a changing aren't they!! So I know what I am talking about!
@littleonemorning That's what I said but you know Mommies who like to think they know everything!!
@babyayleensmommy, that’s why six weeks is the average and most recommended time frame to wait.
Everyone's different @littleonemorning
@babyayleensmommy, okay.. your a grown woman, as am I. I’m allowed to say what my doctor told me, just like you said what you did. AGAIN, to each their own. She already did the deed and that’s fine, I’m just saying that just because you were okay, doesn’t mean everyone is.
I'm not encouraging it's her sex life? If she already had sex then that's her business? I just added when I had sex and how early it was lol @littleonemorning even if I was encouraging it I'm a grown woman I can encourage if I want you Can not tell me what to do it what to say or when to say it lol
@babyayleensmommy and not everyone gets into a car accident but you should still wear your seatbelt.
@babyayleensmommy, just because “not everyone gets one” doesn’t mean it’s okay to encourage it. The average woman needs 6 weeks to fully heal - that’s why it’s 6 weeks to not have sex. To each their own though.
But your not mentioning how NOT EVERYONE GETS THEM you act like if you have sex too early your GOING TO GET ONE like no every female is different. @littleonemorning
@babyayleensmommy, just because you didn’t doesn’t mean it’s not possible. I know someone who had sex at four weeks and got such a bad infection, she was hospitalized. So you CAN get one.
I never got an infection so idk why people are saying you CAN get an infection 😂😂😂
Then I had an appointment with my obgyn doctor she said "wow your healed really great!" Lol 😂😂
It is to risk infection and since you are super fertile, you have the risk of getting pregnant right away. My doctor was very insistent on waiting especially since I had a c-section.
@al_lopezzzz2718, having multiple kids doesn’t mean you’re an expert. I’ve been to multiple drs with multiple different individual. My OB has however advised against early sex due to infection. I didn’t call you a liar but if I’d have to call you something I guess it would be ignorant, since you seem so keen on labeling stuff.
Having multiple children certainly doesn’t make one an expert.... but you keep believing that 🤦♀️
@raqueliiosiis Remember I have 3 Kids!! All doctors are different
.are you calling me a liar!? I Know what I was told when I was a first time Mom!
@al_lopezzzz2718, I’ve never heard that from any OB most don’t care about you getting pregnant it’s the infection they worry about.
@raqueliiosiis @bubbys.mommy I have 3 kids and another one on the way..don't y'all think I would know by now what the risks of waiting and not waiting are. It's actually both things!! Sorry to say but I did have a doc tell me to wait 4-6 weeks to not risk the chance of getting pregnant again right away and not risk infections!! But thanks for the advice and thinking Y'all know something and this is either your first Pregnancy or second! I'm sorry to be rude but I correct people when they don't really know the whole aspect of what they are talking about fully! Don't tell me I'm wrong because we're both right!! Don't believe me..ask your OB-GYN or call your local hospital!!
I waited 4 weeks w my 1st and 5 w my second because the second time I wanted to follow the rules bt I didnt quite make it. We risk a lot of things dont mean it'll happen. I know over a handful of women who didnt wait and they all were fine.
Y’all 😂😂😂 it’s not “recommended” to not have sex before 6 weeks it’s just the rules. You CAN get an infection because it takes 6 weeks for everything to heal and if you tear and need stitches that has to heal too. It’s not so you won’t get pregnant again either it’s the infection aspect of it. Not getting pregnant is the least of anyone’s worries. 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
@al_lopezzzz2718, no it’s to not risk getting an infection. You have a hole in your uterus your suppose to let that heal and that takes 6 weeks to heal.
I try to wait.. it’s better cause my mom says “kedas desparamada” lmao I guess it’s just also a matter if you feel well to do it
@muksu It's actually so you won't end up Pregnant again because you're super fertile after you give birth!!
2 weeks with My First!! 3 days with My Second and 6 weeks with My Third!! It's hard waiting!!
I don’t think that’s specific to Latin culture so much as general medical advice lol
When is it safe to have sex after giving birth? You can have sex as soon as you feel ready after having a baby. Some experts advise waiting until after any bleeding has stopped, to reduce the risk of infection while your womb (uterus) is healing, but ultimately it's up to you.
I did. At 5 weeks as well! As long as your able and don’t hurt, I think you should be fine ...
they say to use a condom... but I guess it's mostly cause of pregnancy I guess... also will you really get an infection? guess likelihood is low...
@garay88, yea I felt fine too! Well see what my doctor tells me next week at my 6 week check up lol
Yeah lol it’s great to risk an infection... but you do you 🤷♀️
I did at 5 weeks nothing went wrong lol it's hard to wait sometimes 😁
Lol has anybody had sex before there 6 weeks after a vaginal delivery?🤷🏾♀️
I'm just carious because I usually wait after the 6 weeks. Anyone had sex during the 6 weeks after giving birth? Or wait? 🤔
Has anyone on here had sex before the 6 weeks after giving birth and gotten pregnant?
I know you’re supposed to wait and it can cause infection, I’m just asking if it’s happened.
Has anyone had sex before the 6 weeks pp who got stitches?
Yeah lol it’s great to risk an infection... but you do you 🤷♀️
