I waited 2 weeks and I was fine. I stopped bleeding and then got a period right after smh (I didn't breastfeed though)

Depends on if you had a C-section or not...:-/ I think we were both too tired to anyway. Haha!

But did it hurt? Or was it painful? That's good 2 weeks sounds better than 6 lol and we're you on birth control during that time? I know the doctor says we're more fertile once we have a baby @bria,

My husband is 19 😂 that guy is never too tired and he flipped out when I told him how long we had to wait lol @mkroon518,

😂 well I think it would be more about how you feel, if you tore, etc 😁 I had a c section and there was definitely nothing happening until that sucker of a scar healed up!! 😉

Omg great!!! lol I was little scared at first I tore with my first pregnancy and sex was painful after that but I'm all excited now that I don't have to wait that long haha @mommyofsoontob3,

They tell you more or less to wait because everything inside of your body is healing and they don't want you getting any type of infection. Sex will be really weird your first time. And yeah, it might hurt a little. Take it slow, and if you're not ready, by all means don't do it. Because you really don't want to risk your body for one night of sex. Sex is supposed to be enjoyable remember that, and use caution if you go against doctors orders. My husband and I waited about a month before we did anything but at that point I was using tampons as well.

I waited 6 weeks. I had 2nd degree tearing and got. hematoma. it hurt like all hell when we had sex. I'm 12 wks pp and it finally feeling normal. I swear they stitched me too tight or something.

they say to wait that long to give you proper time to heal, at 2 wks your body is still trying to rid all the shit that's been in there for the past 40 wks

it's an abnormal blood clot. it was the most painful shit (recovery) I went through that entire pregnancy.

my baby was only 7lbs and 18 1/2inches

Above everything listen to your body. Pregnancy and labor are hard-core and the most important thing after is your healthy recovery, definitely not sex. Obviously there are other things you can do in the mean time. But it's really going to feel like jelly and be uncomfortable for a while. Your husband will get over it. Don't do anything you're uncomfortable with and don't put your recovery and health at risk for it.
