Opinions: I haven't had an appointment since I was 15w. I am now 27w3d and FINALLY have an appointment next Thursday morning (the first one since we've moved.) I'll be 28w5d at my appointment. They're going to do paperwork tranfering my medical records and get me started on blood and sugar testing. Do you think they'll do an ultrasound to see the baby?? Since its been so long?? I don't even know what I'm having yet and I'm desperate to see my baby and find out... I don't want to get my hopes up though. My 15w ultrasound (and first appointment), they looked at the baby, but said it was too early to tell...

yes, you should find out the gender and everything when you go

They should it's been that long since they looked at baby they will need to either way, but curious why it's been so long since you been to dr?

@kaylareese26, because I moved states and medicaid here is a pain in the ass... I've been fighting with them for 2 months. I finally found a nonprofit organization for my appointments but they're 45 min away and all of the drs near me require money upfront that I couldn't afford...

Oh I hate that, that happened to me to the dr I was seeing all of a sudden dropped Medicaid but I found ones luckily within a few weeks to a month but Medicaid sucks like that they make it so hard sometimes. I'm sorry you had to go threw that! @nathaneals_mommy

@kaylareese26, I'm OK now that I have an appointment haha HUGE burden removed... I moved here not knowing anyone and just happened to meet a lady while working at Old Navy who is an obgyn nurse there that told me about it. that woman will never understand how much she helped!!
