As the parent, it's our jobs to teach our children as they grow. But I learn something new every day from my little girl. Along with a picture of your munchkin/s, comment 3 things that they have taught you!!

2.) Patience is everything! Being a parent is hard and it can be stressful, but as long as your patient with them, everything is going to be okay!

Daddy is pulling a double again tonight. Ugh. But on the plus side, my 2 week old slept from 11:30 pm until 5:30 am, woke up for a diaper change and to be fed, then slept from 6:15ish until around 8:45 :D

what temperature is too high to be around baby??

When I had my daughter, knowing I was breastfeeding, they prescribed me Oxys and Ibuprofen 800 mg... Now that I've taken the oxys and they're long gone, I'm hearing about how I'm a bad mom because you're not supposed to take oxys while nursing... But that's what the doctor that delivered her prescribed to me and I only did what I was told? They even managed to last until today (11 days). Does anyone know if a low dosage is harmful?? Was anyone else given this?? I'm a FTM and I really didn't mean...

OK ladies, I need advice and a little support with something... My husband has been considering alot here lately about changing jobs... He wants to get a job thats an hour away that could keep him home for weeks at a time... Well, if he can't get it, he wants to join the military... In the past, I had a boyfriend who joined National and he left for basic, never wrote, and came back and broke my heart... I've been married to this man since 7/12/13 and we just had our beautiful baby girl on 10/21...

This is my cousin and I asked his mom why he was leaning like this and she says, "That's how he always sits."
My daughter isn't able to lean like this... What's your opinion?

My baby girl is a week old today. I had some tell me that I needed to stop changing her diaper so much... She has a bad habit of pooping right after I change her diaper (therefore I change it again because I don't want a diaper rash to have to doctor)... They told me to stop changing her as much and let it build up a little before changing the diaper out. In my opinion, that would be really uncomfortable for Piper... Opinions??

I am so blessed! My baby girl is a week old today. She's already sleeping through the night and she's always a super happy and smiley baby (: no nipple confusion (even though we give her a binkie, breast feed, and bottle feed), AND she's SO alert!! Who knew my husband and I (of all people) would have such a good baby? lol I swear I am so beyond in love! I can't stop staring at her!

Moms That Allow Binkies:
Is your little one attached to ONE binkie? My daughter is a week old today and she refuses to take any other binkie. I saw a post about the particular binkie she has falling apart and almost choking the baby, so I'm really wanting to switch her from this one onto another... Any tips on switching?? I think the others may be too heavy or the nipples may be too big? Not sure... But I just don't want this one breaking in her mouth!!
