Did anyone get a transvaginal ultrasound or just a regular ultrasound at their first appointment because I have my very first appointment Thursday and I heard that I’ll most likely be getting a transvaginal ultrasound and I’m nervous 😥 do they hurt?
Well, I had my first appointment the other day.. Didn't even get an ultrasound.. (Mad about it) but I had to get blood drawn.. And I cried... It was just a bad experience.
My first ultrasound of our faternal twins can't wait to get my next one hopefully I can get appointment next wk
hey guys my last pregnancy I got a transvaginal ultrasound at 5 weeks and then had a miscarriage 2 days later. I'm pregnant again and I'm afraid to get the transvaginal ultrasound again. I've done research and it says ultrasound doesn't cause miscarriage but it's hard to not link them together. so ladies how long did you wait til your first appointment and for your ultrasound?

Ultrasound So I Had My First Ultrasound At 6 Weeks Heard Baby's Heart Beat And Everything Was Ok.... Doc Said I Wouldn't Have Another Ultrasound Until I'm 20 Weeks I Feel Like That's Too Long. When Did You Get Your Second Ultrasound?

@jess.mccormick, oh okay thank you! I mean I’m hoping they can do just a regular one but they might have to do transvaginal because I’m only 9 weeks I believe so they probably won’t be able to see the baby or anything on the regular one but I’ll have to find out Thursday lol

Transvag On my first OB apt. This is to see exactly how far along you are. They do not hurt at all.

It doesn’t hurt. It’s just very uncomfortable as they move it around.

My first ultrasound was transvaginal. Doesn't hurt but like said before when it's moved around it's uncomfortable. Totally worth it though!! <3

@maurissaerhardt I had transvaginal until about the 15th week, my placenta is right in front and makes it hard to see the baby thru the regular one. No pain at all, it's exciting!!!

@mommynay, yeah I’m definitely not looking forward to all the pains and feeling sick and what not but it’ll be worth it once my baby’s here ❤️

urgh i got one at my first appointment i was 8 weeks . i feel it really depends on the doctor my doctor was aggressive is was very uncomfortable for me and even still hurted days later, she was putting alot of pressure it sucked! 😩😬 @maurissaerhardt

My first was on the belly this pregnancy I was 8+3 but other pregnancies was transvaginal but they never hurt during
