Do you ladies agree when people say not to hold a baby often because they'll get used to being held all the time? So…

Yes they grow up too fast I have an almost 5yr old and it makes me sad that he's growing up lol @klachappelle

@jenii, The other thing is they are only this little once, you will never get this day back. Suck up all the love because in a few years she won't want anything to do with cuddling.

I agree I can't help but hold her! when she's ok with not being held I just let her be but I love cuddling her haha @klachappelle

babies are smarter than we think, yeah they're Just babies they came out to this world knowing nothing but they learn lol trust me I see in my daughter eyes how smart she can be lol

Yea when she's calm I lay her down and she'll stay laying down quietly for a while it isn't until she cries that I pick her up @proud_mami87

I don't think you can spoil a baby until they're older. They're not big enough to understand how to manipulate. I hold my daughter whenever she wants to be held and wants cuddles...if she's content being put down for tummy time/floor play or being in the swing/bouncer for a little while then you should allow her to have that independent time so that she can learn and discover new things but if she wants held you should hold her ☺️

I don't believe in "spoiling newborns" it doesn't exist. I held my daughter every chance I got. Babies are carried by you for 9 months, and then they are born into a cold world they have no idea about. They need to be held and loved. ссылка

i believe in that. I held my baby everytime even if she wasn't crying. now she just wants to be in my arms. not just in my arms, she just wants someone to carry her. if we put her down she'll to get fuzzy and starts crying, and as soon as we carry Her she stops crying and be Happy again lol

yes you Can carry your baby especially when baby is cry, your just not going to let the baby cry. Just don't do it alot when she's not crying ur going to get her use to your arms.

Yea I notice she cries when someone else hold her but I think it's cus she knows when it isn't me lol and she feels safer with mom idk lol @their.bomb.ass.mom

I agree. I noticed when my step mom held my daughter often she would be whiny and fussy if you weren't holding her. it took her a few days to get out of it. I wanted to hold her a lot, but I didn't. I do think babies can be "spoiled" in a way that young. Not saying it's wrong to! just my preference. 😊

nooo! babies that new can never be spoiled! love her up hunny! it builds trust between you and baby as well I think babies can't be spoiled till they're like 1 yrs old at the youngest. yes ppl tell me all the time I'm going to spoil her but hey she's ALWAYS the good baby when we go out so ino im doing something right 😜

Food spoils, babies don't. ;) Your baby loves to be held close, and there's nothing wrong with that.

That's what I think too! they just wanna be loved and feel safe but some of my in laws say otherwise that I'm only gonna get her used to being held and it's gonna suck when I go back to work blah blah

Idk I think they are too little to be spoiled yet. Our babies are so new that they need us right now. Mine is two weeks old and I'll hold him when he cries.i can't just leave him there he's too new! Lol
