Nursing my first born ended up being an impossible feat which ended in exclusively pumping for a year. This time I was determined to make nursing work & I’m happy to say although we need a shield due to a combination of my nipples, oversupply making my letdown overactive, and her small mouth/ ULT & TT that just got resolved at 7 weeks old, we’re doin this thing!!

The struggles of a nursing mama....
Baby nurses for 17 minutes, unlatches & contently goes to sleep. Put baby in bouncer and cover up, baby fusses a bit, give baby paci, baby spits paci out and fussed a bit more so you assume, maybe she wants the other breast 🤷🏼‍♀️ puts on nipple shield and preparation for baby to eat, baby happily goes back to sleep while you’re trying to get the nipple shield on 😑 so now, you’re eating your dinner with one boob out and a nipple shield on just in case baby is actua...

RaeLee May is here & I’m so in love 😍 6lbs 11oz, 19” born at 8:30am. So excited for big sister Paisley to meet her tomorrow!

Pregnancy insomnia is so freaking real right now 😭 wide tf awake now then later today when I’ve gotta mom for my other kids I’ll be ready to take a nice long nap 😴. 2 more weeks, just 2 more weeks. 😍

Officially got my LAST work week schedule before baby girl is here! 17 days & I’ll officially be home with my babies once again. I love my job but I can’t wait to be a stay at home mama again. Not to mention my last week will be totally easy since I’ll just be training my replacement 😊
