so I don't want to go past 40 weeks because with my first daughter I had complications delivering her once I went past. so my mom told me at my 39 weeks appointment to just ask if I can schedule a c section. can I even do that??
Good morning ladies. Sorry I been ignoring yall but I have been so miserable the past days I'M STILL PREGNANT my contractions would be strong for hours and it looked like I was gonna have a baby then everything just stopped so I got sent home. they said I have to wait till my appointment Wednesday so I can talk to my doctor about the next step. I HATE THIS 😢😢😩
Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?
Mucus plug So I started losing bits of my mucus plug & I know it's normal and can regenerate. The nurse told me it can happen and I still go to 41 weeks (I hope not). But I'm just curious what anyone else's experience with losing it early was in the past, did you still carry until a full 40 weeks? Or did you go a bit early?
Can I see all the mommies belly's and how many weeks are you 😁 sorry that's the only pic I have that you can actually see my baby I'm 23 weeks today what do you think I'm having ?

You can ask, but they will most likely not do it unless medically necessary. In some states it's a law that they can't induce or anything until 41 weeks unless something goes wrong.

Cervidex. Now I've been using evening primrose oil at night. Google it. My doctor felt that it was safe. It's helped me thin

@earthmama, I ended up being 3 weeks over when they thought I was just 1. she had a bowel movement inside me and it got into her lungs and she came out no heartbeat or anything. it was terrifying. my dr told me at the beginning of my pregnancy that he wouldn't let me go over but now says 41 weeks would be the max if my cervix isn't ready sooner. what was the medication @hooper14

They gave me medication the night before to thin my cervix. There's not reason they can't do that at 39 weeks.

most doctors won't do a c-section unless its absolutely needed.

my dr told me if my cervix isn't labor ready then he doesn't want to induce me because then it would increase my risk of a c section @prego_again
