I'm 28 weeks and I go tomorrow to get my rhombus shot for a negative blood type..what I'm worried about is them giving me a shot that I really don't need..could they be wrong about my blood type because no one in my family has A- blood? and what if they was wrong could it kill me and my daughter??
There's a dominant and recessive rh factor gene so you're parents could be both be +- and still have +rh and there's a 1 in 4 chance that you'll have a - rh. so yeah its possible. If you're worried, have them test it again, but it's pretty easy to tell if it's negative or positive
thank you I'm just worried that I'm not negative and if I'm not I'm scared its gonna kill me and the baby.. I just hope the doctor isn't wrong.
Everyone actually had Rh blood it's either negative or positive don't stress about the shot it's like any regular shot so you make sure you get it, the problem is if you don't get it and your daughter is Rh Positive your body will start to eat her like she is a virus meaning you will lose your baby so please get that shot. Im also Negative and High Risk and if you need someone to talk to or vent to I'm here
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
has anyone heard about having to have a shot because of your blood type?!? a friend told me she was O- (negative) and had to have a shot mid way through pregnancy because if she didn't her blood would fight off the babies blood like it was an infection or disease. I don't know what my blood type is but if it's anything negative like she said I'm going to be asking the doctor!! that's crazy to me!
My doctor also recommended me getting the flu shot while pregnant ? I'm not sure if I want to or if i should ? It's all scary to me !! What do you ladies think ? Did you get the flu shot while pregnant ? Are there any risks? Or should I wait ? I'm so scared of taking anything while pregnant , much less getting this shot.. He said it isn't mandatory , just recommended.
Birth Plan Rant
I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
@momma2be2015 when you go in to get the shot before the even give you the shot their suppose to check you again just to make sure your Negative so when you gone in ask and make sure that their going to check your blood again. But even if you are Rh Negative it isn't really a bad thing you just have to get that shot I got my shot at 28weeks and I was scared and nervous thinking about it to and I really didn't know why but I am now 9months due in 2weeks and my baby is fine healthy and active like crazy.
