As we laid our precious baby boy down to sleep, our hearts ached. We still have questions and don't understand why this happened to our sweet innocent baby boy. What we do know is one thing. We are LOVED! God has surrounded us with gentle hands of comfort to help us get through such a hard time in our lives. We couldn't be anymore grateful for the friends and family we have. Baby Dakota is safe and sound in the arms of our Heavenly Father. He had a purpose so great that we can't even begin wrap our heads around it. My husband and I are just so thankful for the love and support. 8.4.15 💙

Okay so the ultrasound tech told us he wasn't sure what the gender of our baby is.. At first he said girl then he said boy then he said to keep both names handy...does anyone have ultrasound pics where they were told one gender and the baby was born with the other gender???

I was gonna name our little girl Zariah lol chose Arabella or Piper instead (still fighting with myself with those two.) I love that name!

@doublezmommy, I considered it. But Arabella was to represent my husbands dad (who chose my husbands name as Ariel for Lion of God; Arabella means beautiful lion) and LeAnne is in memory of my stepmom. Piper is just there lol and it doesnt seem right smashed together into a 3 name combo 😔
