how long are you supposed to bleed after having a vaginal delivery? and how long does the pain (back, ribs, and abdomen) usually last after giving birth? I'm 5 days postpartum
small blood clots mean you need to drink more water. but any blood clots the size of a.plum you need to contact you doctor. as for bleed with my first it was 5 week's I stoped bleeding and the pain went a way about 6 week's pp as for my daughter I had her on May 3rd. and my bleeding is almost gone and pain wise I barley have any. I guess it all depends. @zeeksmommy
thank you for reassuring me, I went to the doctor yesterday and he said that the pain I was feeling was from pushing, he also said that it was because my organs were moving back into place and my muscles were coming back together. is it normal to have some blood clots though?
I stopped bleeding at about a month in a half and and the pain dint go away till like 2 months. It gets easier
Oh honey it could last a while! Hang in there!
the all around body aches and pain lasted for me a good 2 weeks! I bled for 2 months after giving birth off and on but I also got the depo at the hospital before I left and it causes some spotting but with my first I bled a whole month and some.
