ok for ladies who have had to do a 24 hour urine collection while pregnant can someone tell me what 172 mg of protein means? the standard range is 0-150 so i know i was over. but they dont consider it preeclampsia unless its 300 mg? or thats what I found online. my bp is only 130 over 70. my dr isnt in to talk to me about the results. and its freaking me out.

they'll tell you when they know something. You might be induced early. I'm not sure with different doctors. mine came out of no where. I always had good blood pressure and I wasn't scheduled to be induced but yet I was :/ I hope everything works out!
@gillianamy, well they said I have gestational hypertension at the least but wanted to test to make sure I didnt have preeclampsia. I get induced next monday.
I did it and your blood pressure is normal. they don't really get worried unless the top number goes above 140 or the bottom goes above 90. at one point mine was 150/100. they didn't tell me what my urine said but I didn't get to finish the 24 hours. I started Sunday (05-03-15) at like 6pm and then at 8am on Monday they induced me. I was 38 weeks
@gillianamy, I get induced on the 18th if he isnt here by then. i will be exactly 39 weeks. they decided that at my 37 week check up when they were concerned i had hypertension. I just hope it is still mild hypertension.
