Question mommies what are some diaper rash creams that work.other than destin and A&D cause neither of them have cleared…

After he poops, Lay down a plastic bag and lay a towel over it and let him lay there with out a diaper for at least a half hour. It let's their nether regions dry out really good, and it should help. My daughters skin is really sensitive so I'm constantly fighting a diaper rash it seems like! Agh!

@mamas_mia, I didn't know boys could get a yeast diaper rash he has a Dr appointment on the 11th so if it hasn't cleared up by then I'll ask him about it. thank you though this helps. he is never in a dirty diaper for long besides at night and he wears the same diaper for 5-6 hours when he is down for the night I guess I'll set alarm to change him out of it cause I'm thinking that's why it hasn't cleared up

Boys or girls can get a yeast diaper rash, yeast is naturally found on skin and in breastmilk/formula. So when they have a dirty diaper, the yeast is in the poo and it grows rapidly in dark, warm, moist places. Make sure to change diapers asap

It may not be a regular diaper rash. My daughter had a rash for a week and nothing was working so my Dr told me it may be a yeast diaper rash which are apparently very Common. She said to go get some monostat but to make sure it had the external cream with it. I used the external cream 3 times a day, making sure not to rub it in but just to apply a thin layer, and with in 2 days it was totally clear. Make sure you wash your hands really well with every diaper change, cause if you don't and then you use the bathroom, you may get a yeast infection.

My sons doctor has never said don't use baby powder. It's only bad for their lungs if they breath in the dust, that's what you put it on your hand away from your baby. @samanthasgunnapop

I used Vaseline with Aloe, cleared up over night.

If you use baby powder sprinkle it on your hands and rub it together AWAY from the baby then apply. just what my doctor told me :)

Monkey butt it's called. That's what I use when Destin fails me. But if you have a girl I would make a Dr appt because when my daughters rashes wouldn't go away it usually meant it was a yeast infection :/

Just baby powder. I tried just the diaper rash cream but it made it worse. Baby powder cleared it up in a day
