My 7 month old has a really bad rash which looks to be a diaper rash ? Picture is in the comments.
His doctor told us to use athletes foot cream when his rash was like that. Cleared it up in a day or two. I keep a tube of it on hand just in case now.
@gracelynnsmama, @zachattackmomma, so the aquaphor baby ointment
@zachattackmomma, yes it is! I've always used aquaphor for my dry skin since I'm allergic to so much. So to find something that we always have in house is awesome! I even got my husband using it on his hands because if the cold weather and he needs his hands to do heavy lifting at work outside.
@gracelynnsmama, 🙌🏻🙌🏻 it’s a miracle worker! I swear by it!!!!!
@zachattackmomma, @maverickandjosiah060516,
Agreed! Don't use zinc oxide. We did and my daughter got a rash and then turned into a fungal diaper rash. She was bleeding and that was just after using desitin for a day! The doctor had us use aquaphor and foot fungal ointment to clear her infection. Aquaphor for life now!
@maverickandjosiah060516, a bad mom? No, we are all human, we all get sick, get rashes, have accidents, I don’t see how that’s a bad mom???? You love your kid, that’s what’s matters 👍🏻
@zachattackmomma, I’ve always used Huggies or pampers and I haven’t changed detergent and no different foods . It’s only in the diaper area , it’s so weird. That’s why I was considering changing diapers. But when I see stuff like that I feel like a bad mom 😭😭
@maverickandjosiah060516, I would t switch diapers then! Keep the buggies if they have been working
@maverickandjosiah060516, could be a different allergy to a new food, new environmental allergen, or detergent also
@zachattackmomma, He’s been in Huggies since he was born & never had an issue but he’s got little bumps around his legs and on his lower belly too
@maverickandjosiah060516, I was a daycare director for a corporate company with 100+ families... aquaphor or any comparable barrier protection was what helped cure diaper rashes for our babies more than any other brand as well as switching diapers 👍🏻 good idea
@zachattackmomma, hmm, I’m not sure I’m gonna keep an eye on it and switch diapers as well
@maverickandjosiah060516, I don’t use buttpaste ever. It doesn’t help my son at all. Zinc Oxide can irritate sensitivite skin
@zachattackmomma, I used some butt paste cream on it after I let it air out , does it just look like it rubbed against him maybe from sitting in his car seat?
After cleansing with a warm wash cloth, pat dry, and use aquaphor on the affected area. You will see improvement in a few hours

Is This A Teething Rash ? Thank You x
Baking soda for a diaper rash? Anyone had success?
What's good for an extreme diaper rash?
My LO has a diaper rash what do or did you mommy's put on your LO diaper rash?
@maverickandjosiah060516, the baby one is literally the same as the one you buy in the regular section (same ingredients just more expensive)
