I had to have an emergency c-section, I stayed calm and the doc was amazing they had me in and out in no time I'm healing still had baby 3 weeks ago on Sunday but I'm feeling alot better, the first shower u get to take is AMAZING. I was up and walking the halls the next morning bc I didn't want to be all cramped up so I pushed my self to get out of bed and walk. the questions they ask you are scary but I threw that all to the side and knew I was in good hands. I'm healing really great just make sure u take care of the area. Good luck! it's not as bad as people say,
my cousins wife said it wasnt so bad cause they gave her good pain killers after the only thing that hurt and bothered her was the fact she got infected after the stitches and area was all inflamed but other than that everything was good for her
I think what was worst than the surgery was the swelling of my legs and feet after...it was so much worse then when I was pregnant and last for weeks it was so uncomfortable but it's normal and will go away.
for me the c section was quick, my baby was out within minutes and all I could feel was tugging. the longest part was the prep lol. yes there is pain after the first couple weeks are the worst but you do get pain medication and the worst for me was just getting up and down and getting in and out of bed. just take it easy the first few weeks...I had help, my mom stayed with us and she did everything all I had to do was take care of the baby. after two weeks I was off pain meds and yes I was still sore but was not that bad. 4 weeks in I had to keep reminding myself to take it easy but if I pushed too hard it stung a little in the incision I'm now 6 weeks pp and I am not sore and back to doing things like I use too. when you cough or sneeze hold your belly it will help lol. I'm not big on pain either but I would gladly do it all over again.
While theyre performing the c section you wont feel anything at all. The pain is afterwards and Just like jassy said it hurts when you move when you sit down, even when you cough or sneeze. But the pain will go away eventually.
For me it was the worst pain ever! I'm not one for pain though! It hurt to move sit lay down it hurt to pretty much do anything. I'm having another c section and I'm not looking forward to being in all that pain again.
