I'm 5 weeks PP as of today &I'm spotting!!!! But its light light light brown, not pink. My lactation consultant said I wouldn't have my period for as long as I was nursing (which in my case, I can't nurse right now while she's so little, but I pump ). And she said IF I did get it before I was done nursing, it wouldn't be for another 6 months or so !!! I'm confused!!

not true I got my period before 6 weeks and I breast feed for over a year :)
@jellybeansmommie oh wow.. yeah I didn't experience that at all, I had no nothing after my 1st week
You can spot for up to 6 wks pp. I bled for 2 wks and spotted until was 4. I didn't stop bleeding completely until 5 wks pp
@jellybeansmommie My PP bleeding stopped after my 1st week. I did not deliver vaginally
not true. Every woman is different and you may not be having a period you may still be having some pp bleeding... that's what it sounds like. especially if it's brown and not pink.
@versa17 Well I'm just going by what my lactation consultant said.. idk much. But I guess sooner or later I'll see what it is. I go back for another check up on the 6th anyway.
