A little to early.. You don't want to have to baby shower until about thirty weeks.. I'd say after you find out what it is, start planning..

Yeah we aren't trying to be rude you can never predict when it's gonna happen the pregnancy I miscarried was always perfectly healthy no signs or anything I did contributed to it, it just happens.

I just waited until I knew the sex at 20 weeks so I could have a really cute gender theme 😀

It could honestly happen to anyone. I agree with these ladies. I've known people who have said exactly that, their babies 100% healthy, but have ended up having misscarriages. Heck, I told my self that me having kids before marriage never happened, but it did. Just saying you never know. But if you want to plan it now, go for it. Do what you feel is necessary and makes you happy (: best of luck (:

People arent trying to be rude when they are saying that a miscarriage can happen. It would just suck to get stuff done for a baby shower and

then have that happen. I had a perfectly healthy pregnancy and then had a miscarraige. The second time I got pregnant I was well into my 2nd trimester before I told anyone let alone started to shop or anything. I hope you have the healthiest pregnancy and everything goes well, I just think people are telling you from experience anything can happen. Especially this early.

I would wait. Miscarriage stage range from when you first get pregnant until about 12 weeks. That's why you hear most people say they wait until about 3-4 months pregnant before they start telling their family members.

Miscarriages can happen to anyone for any reason whether it's a perfect pregnancy or not I would seriously wait till the second trimester plus that's the trimester you'll have the most energy in. In the long run its up to you

you can plan whenever you want!(-: but I'd like to say you're nurse is very very wrong. miscarriages most commonly happen within the first trimester. before 14 weeks. you can have a miscarriage any time before 20 weeks. a loss after 20 weeks is a stillbirth. not trying to scare you at all, I believe you when you say you got a strong heathy baby in there! just want you to know the truth because your nurse wasn't correct.

I would wait until at least 14 weeks. and things could do a quick change around.

baby is super strong n healthy plus the nurse said miscarriage period is before 8 weeks i already passed r that stage so im fine

im not in any chance of a miscarriage already went to hospital i checked out supper great

@islanddreamer07, that's what i was thinking i want to do the whole baby shower myself including decorations so i wanted to get an early start at building things

I would wait till you're out of the first trimester just to get out of that "miscarriage period"

you can start whenever you feel comfortable. An early start is good because you will have less energy later and having things ready will be a LOT less stress for you later.
