this article has some helpful tips and info. ссылка
I just read that new research shows that most otc cold medications and decongestsnts can decrease your milk so just limit the use.
claritin, surged, allegra, benadryl and night time cold meds are all antihistamines. it won't hurt the baby but they do dry up secretions so if taken regularly it may have an affect on your milk.
well it says nasal decongestant but I thought thays what an antihistamine did. but I'm not sure @firstbaby_girl
it should have it on the pack of medicine. I found that info on the internet cause I wanted to know what I could take for my cold too .@mom2be96,
is a nasal decongestant an antihistamine @firstbaby_girl
Only 1% of what you ingest goes into your breastmilk, so as long as you wait until after a nursing session to take the medication, it won't peak in your bloodstream and the baby won't get too much of it. OTC stuff is generally ok. I heard you can take claritin, sudafed, and tylenol cold while nursing. you can't take anything with antihistamine in it, which can reduce your milk supply.
I Hate Not Taking Medicine :/ The Only Medicine I Can Take is Tylenol Which Doesn't Help Me For Nothing :/ I Can't Sleep... it Sucks. . .

Has anyone used these two infant cold medicines. I bought these two to see which one works better.
I will not be tested for COVID unless I am showing all signs of having it! They taking newborn babies away from their mothers if they test positive. Over my cold dead body! No ONE will take my baby away from me bet!
Sick!!! What can I take?
I'm sick and I don't know what I can take aside from Tylenol. At first I thought it was just a cold, but I now have a low grade fever. Any cold type medicines that we pregnant women can take?
