Has anyone used these two infant cold medicines. I bought these two to see which one works better.

I will he has insurance so he's covered. I have two different things to check his temperature with to make sure it's right. If he's like me it'll last a week can't have him sick during the holidays.

he will, it might take a better part of a week. if his cough gets worse or fever gets too high take him in. my daughter's colds always later just over a week.

@eskawho, I definitely will and I will be checking his temperature again during the night. He has an appointment in a few weeks hoping he gets better so I don't have to take him in.

just let me know if you need anything else, I check on here through out most days. I know how hard the first cold can be and if you are ever worried there is no shame in calling his pediatrician.

I had no clue but I felt his forheard it was a bit hot so I checked and gave him Tylenol right away. Im definitely trying everything you're advice has helped I put vapor rub he already sounds less congested compared to last night.

that's good. it's never easy when our babies are not feeling their best. just know your doing everything you can and he should feel better soon.

@eskawho, I know poor thing was so sleepy too I just got him to sleep. I gave him some and it went down a whole lot after I checked it again it was at 102 and it went down to 96. I put baby Vick's rub and he's asleep hoping he gets better soon makes me worry.

oh no! poor thing, I would give him Tylenol if he hasn't had any yet.

@eskawho, he has a fever now so I might have to hold off the bath.

@eskawho, I'm going to turn on the heater before I give him a bath since our house is always cold but I'll make sure to do that before.

that should help..also get the bathroom nice and steamy it will losen so much stuff

@eskawho, that's what I noticed he didn't want to lay flat like he usually does. I barely got any sleep yesterday it was a long night. I'm hoping tonight goes better going to give him a bath and putting vapor rub on him.

that's all you can do. the first couple days are hard because they don't understand what's going on. I had to sleep in a recliner with her a few times because she was uncomfortable laying flat. sometimes that hurts there sinuses or ears laying flat so being elevated helps.

I have no advice for that my baby always was good at taking her medicine but I wish you luck and hope your baby feels better. for us she started feeling better after a couple days but the cold lasted a week.

@eskawho, I definitely didn't prepare at all only thing I had was Tylenol until I went today. He absolutely hates when I give him medicine he's going to be the worst at that.

I know what you mean. my baby first got sick at 6 months we were not prepared. my baby didn't like the spray, but then she realized it helped and welcomed it

@eskawho, If I go back to store I will make sure to get it. my son is just the worst at taking medicines. this is the first time he has gotten sick so its all new to me.

it should help but I would recommend the spray also..especially before eating and bed it will clear you baby out lol. so far my baby has had 2 colds and this stuff along with the other stuff I mentioned helped her so much. also lots and lots of cuddles.

@eskawho I didn't get the nose spray but I did buy the baby Vick's vapor rub. I'm going to give some again in a few hours and before bed hoping it works his nose is all stuffy.

I use the baby Hyland's cough.

I use the zarbees along with nose spray, which I would recommend, and baby vick helped my daughter through her colds. I usually just gave her the zarbees before bed, it seemed to help her breath better.
