My friend brought by my placenta pills. I've never felt so good. I highly recommend encapsulating your placenta. it will be the best decision you ever made. helps with any postpartum depression/baby blues, regulating hormones and breast milk supply. I am one happy momma

@makeartnotwarr69, read previous post and also some hospitals hold the placenta. so they held it for 24 hrs. so my hospital held it for 24 and then when we left the hospital we took it to my doula. Some doulas will also pick it up for an extra charge. It's around $200-300 but so worth it. Our hormones are going crazy after birth. and I have been on them for 3 days and never felt better.

@jellybeansmommie, yes so in your birth plan say you want to save your placenta. and actually they will have you sign a paper in L & D saying you will be keeping it. my friend is a doula and she does it. so you will have to find a doula or midwife that does it.
