@kaitlinbaker23, lord!!! I can’t believe all the new stuff there is to learn year after year. It’s crazy honestly. But science does progress and there is more and more things to learn so our doctors can be smarter and better inform us.

The ultrasound tech told me that it's the brightest spot of the sack. So I'd say the bottom left of the bottom pic

No my bad it attaches to the wall of the uterus and your baby gets its nutrients and oxygen from it and it also removes the waste products from your baby’s blood.
