That's hilarious cause I am a Jehovah's Witness and we just moved to a new house and last Saturday they came a knocking at my door and my bad leg would not let me get up, my husband laughed so hard, I'm pretty sure they just opened the bible lol

Fabulous XD I think they were well enough shocked and out numbered that it didn't manage to get that far. One of them just kinda laughed really awkwardly and asked if they'd been turned away any yet today and a short conversation about approaching houses ensued before they scurried lol. @mrssabby

Lol yep it's me@wrens_mommy I figured eventually some one would notice cause they never see me post any holiday or b-day stuff lol, but hey I celebrate life everyday lol, I've missed field service and I haven't been to the hall in forever I listen in on the phone every Wednesday and Sunday but it's not the same, hopefully since I'm free from bed jail and can do everything except walk a mile and run my leg will cooperate so I can attend tomorrow in person 😀

@mrssabby, is your husband a wittness as well alot of my family members are in the congregation.. i read alot like the magazines but i havent been to church since ive been married (hes catholic).. and my children identify more with jehovah witnesses because my family always introduces them to it.. my on laws get upset because they want to have my girls baptized into their religion.. but i told hubby thats a no go cuz i want them to get older and decide plus my hubby doesnt really introduce his religion to them.

@wrens_mommy, do you identify yourself as wittness if you dont mind me asking.. i know there are alot of people who get uncomfortable with this religion for some reason.. im not baptized but i hope to be someday..

@mrssabby, I finally managed to get back to the hall last Sunday for the first time in ages. I've been calling in for a while as well between bed jail and hospital visits. I'm just studying right now, though. Not quite to field service yet, but I'm really curious and interested in spite of my anxiety/bipolar inspired abject terror at the thought of talking to/approaching strangers. lol I hope you can manage to get out tomorrow! I'm sure plenty of people are dying to see you and fawn over that bump! 😁

@joanna290, I'm not baptized yet either, but I hope to be too some day not too terribly far away. I'm hoping I'll be allowed to start unbaptized publishing soon when some of this baby stuff settles down. I identify enough to make it simple for the hospital. 😉😆

@wrens_mommy, lol me too.. I love that my kids identify with this religion tho.. I dont want to be pushy.. I downloaded the JW youth on their ipod and tablet and when i am out doing errands with them it is a miracle it calms them down and they just love to watch the videos!

@joanna290, nope my husband is not baptized but his Granma, his mom a few aunts and uncles and cousins are baptized witnesses, he studied and finished his first book and then stopped my kids go to the hall but they are 12 and 8 and they go to the hall and participate I study with them but you have to make the truth your own, so when the time comes and they are ready then they can get baptized but ultimately is gonna be their relationship with Jehovah so that's not something I nor anyone else can rush

@joanna290, That's great! I'll have to do the same for when my nugget gets bigger. We're not going to be pushy with her either. My family is really tight knit and so is my husband's, but none of them identify or are baptized as witnesses except for my MiL, my husband (who is working on being reinstated), and myself. So she's going to get a ton of exposure to, at the very least, Baptist traditions (my family will see to that). We've decided just to patient teach and explain to her why we believe what we do as she grows and let her make up her own mind. It worked for my husband growing up.

@wrens_mommy, I'm glad you've managed to keep up your study, and don't even worry about talking to people in field service cause trust me when I say we all said the same thing, but Jehovah will take the wheel @joanna290 ahhh caleb and Sophia videos are awesome I love them for the kids but they are good for adults too, it's refreshing lol, @wrens_mommy @joanna290 you all will do fine, you just have to make the truth your own I studied for 8yrs off and on before I got serious but when I did I was ready and I've been baptized it will be 5yrs in April so just remember it's your relationship with Jehovah and no one else's so don't feel pressured 😉

My mom is a witness and I studied for long time and use to go out in service. I moved and need to start back going again. I read at home but of course it's not the same. Nice seeing other people who share the same beliefs.

@mrssabby, I noticed lol, but that may just be because they're still the most comfortable approaching me because my husband is still currently DF'd. I don't mind though. I love being around them and they give great baby advice!

@wrens_mommy, awww how long has he been out of you don't mind me asking? They say they can be won over without a word, so if you become a publisher and get baptized he just may get back, I missed my assembly dec 6 due to bed jail but I'm so excited cause I can attend on January 17, if this lil baby cooperates lol

He's been out since shortly after we started dating in 2013, but it was him who really encouraged me to look in to some stuff when I expressed being fed up with my church. He's actively trying to come back and is almost to where he can write his letter. I'm super proud of him. Our next assembly is in 2 ish months and we're hoping he'll be able to get off work that day. I hope you get to make yours!
