ok so ultrasound went great today. baby is healthy...active and has all organs. 141 bpm strong heartbeat. on the negative side...my placenta previa got worse :( its now fully covering my cervix meaning i will have to get a c section 2 weeks before my due date. i have had two natural 9lb babies so this really hurt my heart. i mean as long as my baby comes healthy thats all that matters but i really didnt want a c section. PLUS im allergic to the epidural so they can only give me general anesthesia which isnt going to be as strong. another negative that really broke my heart...my amniotic fluid level is 11.8 (very low) and the baby is not growing properly. in the last 6 weeks it has only grown 3%. it might be too late. the baby may have mild retardation and could be born early if i dont watch myself. the dr told me i need to drink TONS of water (i drink NONE plus im ADDICTED to pop/soda so this will be hard) and my fluids could go up and if the baby starts growing at a normal pace i may not have to worry. its so bad they referred me to the "High Risk Pregnancy Clinic" for more in depth ultrasounds weekly. i am very nervous as this is my 3rd child and i have not had complications so please pray for me and my baby.
What u can do about water is squeeze some lime and sugar in the water make it limade it's taste like juice but it's water. I make cucumber water too very very good for u and taste just like juice I swear u couldn't tell the difference. look up a recipe it's a Hispanic thing. I hope it helps.
thanks everybody @crystal0093 @kaity0117 @sking0921 @kimmygarrett85 @jadasmommy93 ... my in depth ultrasound is wednesday january 10 ... cant wait. its at a high risk pregnancy placr
I hope everything is ok and you have yur baby perfect n healthy I'll be praying for you
The number one trick with drinking water instead of anything else is to not have anything else around... Have a water bottle next to you every second and just sip on it all day long. I did that and now I have more energy, less pain, and a more active baby. I am very low risk but the water really affects me and my baby. And if u have soda just think for every can or glass of soda have the same or more of water.
@ndesmidt, I'm not trying to sound mean at all.. but maybe you should get a second opinion? everywhere I've looked online and my doctors both (I've switched) said fluid isn't low until 5cm. I'm high risk and have previa (mines moved fortunately) and I see 3 different doctors now because of my little ones kidneys.. I just don't think that's right :(
ahhhh. I was addicted to soda...no lie! I stopped for my baby because I'm fluffy. I'm also high risk because of my blood pressure. I feel if you drink alot of water it really helps. once you continuously drink water soda won't matter as much. if you baby come out in a special way it's because your baby is special in his or her own way. font get discouraged. I have had a lot of worries during this pregnancy. trust me. the more you do what the doctors order the more chance your baby has of being just healthy. you are strong woman and with help and positive thinking you can do this. show your baby that mommy don't give up that you will do anything to help your baby. it's ok girl you got this. @jadasmommy93
pray on it, there is nothing to big or late for God to fix. . .praying for you.
thanks ! @mandi0101111
