She could be going through a growth spurt! My daughter started eating a ton around a week and it lasted about a week and a half and now she's slowing down a little. (: or maybe she might be just wanting to nurse and not actually eat! My daughter is bottle fed and sometimes if she ate like an hour ago but she's acting hungry I'll give her a binky and that's what she wanted.
