Got home from my appt.
High risk doctor says I need to be induced at week 39. which is this Saturday to next Friday. My regular obgyn says I need to as well. problem is I'm not dialated, baby isn't even all the way down yet, cervix isn't softened. My options are to still try being induced only for 6 hours if nothing happens then have a c section or just cut to the case in schedule a c section. I said I wanted to try vaginal birth. So I go back on Monday to see if anything changes with my body.
So now I don't even know if i want to even be induced because why go through all that and still end up having to have a csection. Might as well just schedule a c section. do c sections effect breast feeding. I really want to breast feed.

@amai got to hold her Peru much right after I had her in the operating room for a few minutes after my husband went to the warmer and cut her cord, and then I had some major complications so I didn't get to have skin to skin time until later that night after I got back stable, and after my second procedure I couldn't move for 2 hours. But they brought her for me to see her right after I had her them they went to clean her up and then brought her back to me.
@camillesmom, how long did you have to wait for you to hold the baby or do a skin to skin contact? I'm nervous I'm going to have to wait a ling time before I see the baby
No c-sections don't, I had a c-section almost 3 weeks ago and my princess is already a super pro at Breast feeding, she will be laying with her dad and try to latch to him and he laughs and goes, Dang she knows right where the boob is! haha
btw just looked on youtube & its on there. its by "Gravitas Ventures" the one thats 1 hour 45 mins long.
yes gf I just searched it up, Its called Pregnant in America. I found it on Netflix about 2 years ago, it may still be on there. if not look online it may have it on youtube. @amandapanda85 :) you're definitely welcome.
@mrs.aceves, I'm pretty sure that's what I'm going to do. When he told me the options I still said I wanted to try being induced so since we still have a little time he will check me again on Monday and we will make a decision. He said it's up to me. and after talking about it with my boyfriend we agreed on seeing what happens when I get induced. hopefully my body will cooperate. :) I'm gonna look up that movie now. l love hearing a good success story thank you :)
I dont want to alarm you love but I watched a movie I think called pregnant in America I will look it up to be for sure. anyway on this documentary the lady was saying how many doctors want you to do a c section because its faster. id recommend trying for a vaginal birth with being induced. I was 10 days past my due date, nothing was happening, I wasnt dilating, my cervix wasnt softened either. my doctor said he recommended a c section but after watching that movie I said absolutely not! I wanted to try for a vaginal birth. went in to be induced & 12 hours later she was born vaginally:) plus the chance of having a vaginal birth after c section isnt impossible but the doctor will recommend c section every time after. the pitocin worked very well. everything went great. my daughter was born at almost 9 pounds. so ask for a vaginal birth. just give it a try.
@amandapanda85, your welcome..you shouldn't worry too much about it but talk to your doctor if you have any doubts :) the day after my c section I had to feed him my boobs were swollen and hurting so bad!
gahh. That's what I was thinking. maybe just go straight for the c section. @momma94 thank you for your story. I was just worried my body won't produce breast milk fast enough.
I went to the hospital and was only 2cm and I was induced with the pitocin for about 20 hours straight in so much pain and my body wasn't opening up past 5cm and it started affecting the babies heart rate so I ended up with a c section at the end, I don't think it affects being able to breast feed because I'm doing it :) it's just recovery that sucks you really need all the help you can get!! But to save time and pain I would just do a c section, maybe your body is different and will actually respond with the medication!! Anyways I hope this helped somewhat goodluck (:

Why Are Many Women Unaware of Their Own Anatomy?
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less
Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though

So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
