I know that doctors get paid more for inducing you ,and even more for a surgery. So I'm wondering now is my doctor…

pleaseeeeee watch the Business of Being Born. it's on Netflix it's an amazing documentary about the birthing process that could maybe help you with your decision?? but either way YOU are mama! you know what's best for your little onr! don't let them bully you into something you are comfortable with because they are drs and you aren't. you know best when it comes to your baby!

I agree with what everyone else said. Just trust your body and don't let the doctors bully you into an induction!

you're a woman, your body was made to give birth, you can go as far as 42 weeks. Walk a lot, stay as active as you can, eat healthy these last few weeks. Unless its medically necessary, don't induce or opt for C-section. People tend to forget we're mammals, nature will takes it course..these due dates are just an estimate and typically go 40 weeks from you LMP and not your actual conception date, which could be 2 weeks after your period.

That is so true @lillady That's why I do as much research as I can... I was induced with my first baby and didn't know what was going on most of the time. They tried to rush labor and I ended up having a csection.

Tell her u don't want to be induced. Your baby could stay safely until 42 weeks I believe then induction is necessary. Truth is if the baby is not ready to come the induction could very well result in a csection. And u do want to avoid that at a cost if possible.

If u don't want to be induced then you don't have to be unless it is medically necessary.... You can tell her that.

Is there a medical reason they want to induce you? If not you have the right to refuse and just wait until you and your little one decide it's the right time <3
