Do any of you mommies ever feel lonely at times? I do love being a mom and obviously love my son to bits but I miss adult interaction and some days just feel lonely. Ladies, I need some advice. My 9 week old is at my other halfs moms tonight and she has just messaged me saying he has had a big poo because she gave him cool boiled water. Now I know most people say it's ok to give babies a little water and my little one hadn't had a poo for 24 hours which she knew about. My little boy has his first lot of injections this morning. Ladies be honest, am I being selfish if I don't go in with him and just have his dad go in with him? I've got such a phobia of needles myself, I just don't know how I'll cope but I feel awful if I don't go in with him....I'm his mom I should be there for him! oh God I don't know what to do...help!!

so my MIL has bought this cot for my 7 week old baby to stay in when he visits etc. In all fairness they did ask me first if I thought it was ok and sent me a link to it, it seemed fine after looking at it online. Now it's arrived (picture attached) I think it looks way too big and low for him and myself or my MIL will not be able to even reach and pick him up as we are both small. They all seem happy with it and my OH has said "it's fine, it won't affect him" what do you ladies think???
