Anyone on maternity allowance does it get paid on the same day for everyone?

Also how long did it take to go through? I am still waiting. Did you just get paid or receive a letter 1st? X

TMI WARNING

Gave birth last sunday, had a ton of internal stitches. Last couple days I have been so uncomfortable. Itchy and irritated. Is this part of the healing process or do i need to go to the Drs? I have been bathing with lavender oil as recommended by the midwife and when I go to the toilet I have been patting dry. My blood loss is very minimal, just bleeds a bit more when I pump (due to breastfeeding/pumping making your uterus contract)

Please help. It is driving me insane
