@pandapooooo, mine gets paid same day each month and it just went in a few weeks after the confirmation of my allowance amount x

With mine I get paid every fortnight on a Thursday, when I filled in my forms I said what date I wanted to start the payments from, did take a few weeks to get it but they back paid me back to the date. Can't remember if I got a payment or letter first to be honest, with child benefit & child tax credits I've gotten payment first then a letter. So if I was you I'd keep an eye on ya bank account just in case :) x
