Haha I literally sprinkled every single pad with tea tree oil and it helped soooo much x

@lukesmummy2016, today I resorted to ice cubes in my knickers 🙈. I will get some pads in the freezer!!

@charlotteandharry, yes pads that can only be described as a memory foam mattress haha bloody huge they are but good for padding!!

I found that I was itchy and irritated by my stitches because everything was swollen and stretching. are you taking paracetamol and ibrufopen? I was told by midwife to take alternatively every 2 hours and it would go. also bit weird but put a pad in the freezer and then wear it. it acts like an ice pack. get them to check them as well, that way you know and you've got peace of mind as well :-) x

I found when it was itching I was heeling so it's a good thing I'd say

I take it you are still wearing pads? Dot them with pure tea tree oil, took so much itchiness away for me xxx

Yes I was a bit itchy :) but if there's an odd smell or really uncomfortable..get it checked as there could be an infection :) I just bathed in plain hot water xxx

It's totally normal to feel that way, I had internal and external stitches and I felt itchy and uncomfortable! If your worried get your doc to check. It it's part of the healing ☺️ x
