When do I start buying all of baby's items? I'm 7wks 1 day now. I plan on telling the family (if we get a heartbeat on the ultrasound in a couple of weeks) at Christmas time which will be right at 13 weeks and 3 days (as of now going from last cycle). I just want he chances of miscarriage to drop! I don't want another miscarriage.

I'm trying to give myself enough time to get baby's stuff put together after the first trimester and to be prepared! Thanks Mommas!

Have any of you had or have pain/twinge on the side in which your baby already implanted? Even a couple of weeks after? I'm assuming it's just because this pregnancy has "taken" whereas the last one didn't as well, hence my miscarriage. Is it common to have this sort of pain/twinge on the same side of implantation?

Are/have any of you been itchy at the beginning of your pregnancy or pregnancies? I feel a little more itchy but I'm pretty sure that's because I'm in my first trimester and growing with my baby. (But I know that I could be itchy through the whole pregnancy because baby never stops growing!)

What is it supposed to feel like when you start to get your plug and start growing with more amniotic fluid and so on and so forth? I know that every woman is different, but I'm still not sure when I'll have health coverage in Oklahoma to ask an actual provider these questions.

Well ladies, my fiancé and I are hopefully going to have our Rainbow Baby in about 37-39 weeks. We took a test three-four days ago and it was positive again!! I definitely feel a difference between our last baby that we miscarried and this new one.
So prayers for a happy, healthy pregnancy and Rainbow Baby!!!

For those who have had at least one miscarriage, how long did you have pain AFTER the cramping that your uterus did to pass your baby? I'm just wondering if this is normal or if I should be concerned.

I am very sad to announce that I miscarried my baby. It was painful both physically and emotionally. I am grateful for my fiancé and I really coming together last night to support each other. I have not had a test to confirm the tissue, only because the approximate age of my baby made him about the size of a blueberry, and when I gave birth to him, I knew it was him. I figured I should update ya'll. I went back to the E.R. Because I thought I was having bleeding. Had a transvaginal ultrasound, and it turns out, everything is perfect! I worried my head off for no reason. Although, I'm still not a big fan (at all) of having anyone (except my fiancé) down in my "netherlands". And I had an official notification that I am approximately 5 weeks and six days :)

At this point in time, I have found out from my E.R. Visits that I am around 4-5 weeks pregnant. This does make sense to me as I don't believe we conceived until almost two weeks after my last cycle. But I will be going back to have blood work done to see if the HGC has doubled in 48 hours. If not, back to California for my first ever pelvic exam in which I am not for that. It frustrates me, and makes me very upset and angry. And the fact that I would have to fly all the way it to California to ...

Anyone know how long bleeding with new and old blood is supposed to happen after intercourse? It's been almost 24 hours. Yes I've had some pain-not consistent and doesn't last long. But I have had some pain after intercourse. This is the second time after intercourse that I have bled some. I just need to know how long it has lasted for some of you? And how heavy it was for you? I'm just a big worry wart and this is my first child and I need some advice. Thank you!
