Has anyone else been on birth control for several years? I came off at the end of March and I'm wondering how long it will take for me to become fertile again. I know I've heard anywhere from 3-5 months, on average, is how long it could take. I have fertility test strips to use as well to try and help my hubby and I conceive.

I must say, we did use condoms from March-August so I have no idea if I would have gotten pregnant before that.

I was on birth control for about 4 years and I took me about 3 years to get pregnant it was really hard and frustrating BC your body has to get used to its normal hormones and all. hopefully urs happens sooner . BC I stopped trying n then got pregnantlol

I was on the pill for 16 years, went off in March (I think) last year and got pregnant in August. Lost that baby (MC) in Oct. Pregnant again in Dec. Just my journey, but everyone's body is different. Good luck. 😊

I was on my first pill for about 5 years, then switched to Aviane and then to something else (which was less than a year). I was on bc pills for about 7 years.

I think it also depends exactly how long you were on the pill for. I know someone who was on it for 6 years and dr said it would take at least a year for her to become pregnant

I think it really depends on the exact birth control.
