I am very sad to announce that I miscarried my baby. It was painful both physically and emotionally. I am grateful for my fiancé and I really coming together last night to support each other. I have not had a test to confirm the tissue, only because the approximate age of my baby made him about the size of a blueberry, and when I gave birth to him, I knew it was him. We call it a him because we wanted a boy. I gave birth to him here at home after we came back from the E.R.. I gave blood and I was at 2000 mg of HCG in my blood. I did not do a transvaginal ultrasound again - a. Because I didn't want to, and b. I felt, with my instincts, that I did not need one. The for sure sign that something was wrong, was the fact that I was cramping just as hard as I normally would have on my regular period, if not some more to eventually be giving birth to my baby boy.

Thank you for all of you who have been on this wonderful journey with me. Thank you for your continued support. Have a Blessed Day.

@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.

At What Age Should a Child Make Their Own Breakfast?

Make your own breakfast! At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
