Why are articles about breastfeeding always so negative about feeding your baby formula? I get that it's not a "perfect food" like breast milk is, but for crying out loud, not all women are able to exclusively breastfeed for one reason or another. Reading articles that take such a pessimistic stance on formula feeding is really discouraging.

Got home from church, started changing my clothes in the upstairs bathroom, realised my bra was SOAKED with milk. Went downstairs to find another bra, took the one I was wearing off, and WHAM. Milk was dripping EVERYWHERE. So basically, thanks, boobs, for getting milk all over the place 😂 now I have to nurse baby in the basement until things calm down a little 😂

I love a good family gathering, but I hate it when family members pass my baby around without checking with me or my husband first. She's OUR kid- NOT public/family property -_-

This little fussy munchkin took FOREVER to get to sleep. Her diaper was fresh, and she kept rooting for food but wouldn't take the breast OR the bottle. She finally took a bit of formula, and when I set her up on my chest to try and burp, she was out like a light. Mommy snuggles for the win!!

Prescription laxatives are no joke y'all. I've been taking them at half dose since the dose they had me on gave me crazy diarrhea in the hospital, but I started feeling backed up last night and took it at regular dose and I just woke up bright and early to a wonderfully easy BM.

Just looking at my year-old nieces compared to my baby makes me realise how bad my baby fever is gonna get when my baby is their age and my sisters in law all have their babies. Gotta cherish every moment with my little pumpkin; they really grow up fast.

Sweet little Averie ❤ After a long (and LOUD) labor, an amazingly effective epidural, over four hours of pushing, and some of the absolute worst tearing that my OB had ever seen, this precious little 8 lb 10 oz, 20 inches long dumpling is completely worth the journey it took to get here. Happy one day old, precious one!!
