Went to a different doc today because my doc is out of town. He checked her size and said baby should be around 7 1/2 lbs or so, and mentioned it might be good to start cutting back on carbs and sweets and eating more vegetables and greens to prevent her from gaining too much weight beyond that... which I totally agree with, but I have a pretty hard time choking down vegetables that aren't zucchini bread, veggie straws or vegetable juice 😥 Anyone got good recipe suggestions/product recommendations? I'm already planning on buying some V8 to replace my sugary drink intake and veggie straws to replace my potato chip intake. Please and thanks! ;) I wanna give my little dumpling the best start to life outside the womb as I can! :)
I never ate my veggies when I was pregnant bc I hate veggies. So my husband bought me all this little kid food with hidden veggies in it. Like applesauce pouches that also had kale and carrots in them. I drank V8 juice by the gallon practically. And I love the ranch veggie straws! My little guy came on his due date at 8 lbs 1 oz, just perfect 😃 and with breastfeeding, I still eat the same stuff so I can give Finn all the nutrients he needs.
